2019 – This entire year will be given to discovering what true Christian hope really means. Our hope is deeply rooted in the very promises of God. So, we will begin our year . . . Standing on the Promises!

January 6, 2019
The Original Promise Keeper
Genesis 1:1-2; 2:1-3


The Bible opens with the story of creation. God speaks, and His Word is fulfilled. This sets the stage for the rest of Biblical revelation. God’s Words reveal His desires and intentions. His Words often contain promises. Those promises will be kept because He is the original Promise Keeper!

Our hope is directly linked to the promises of God. And – hope serves as an anchor for our souls. Our souls need to be anchored to a reality beyond our current circumstances or challenges. God’s promises speak truth into the currents of our lives and provide hope beyond our limited horizons.
